Perched on the terraced hillsides of the Italian Riviera, Casa Ripalta is a sensitive conversion of a traditional village house into a contemporary retreat. The project embraces its dramatic setting, with views stretching across olive groves and terracotta rooftops to the surrounding Mediterranean hills.
Inside, original timber roof beams and stone walls have been carefully preserved, lending the rooms an atmosphere of quiet authenticity. Simple, restrained furnishings and white-plastered surfaces allow the architecture to speak, while the interplay of rustic structure and modern comfort creates a calm and welcoming sanctuary.
